Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy

Brigid Forge LLC respects intellectual-property rights and expects Herald users to submit only material they are authorized to use.

1. Reporting infringement

Send a copyright notice to [email protected] containing: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the copyrighted work; identification and location of the allegedly infringing Herald material; your contact information; a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized; and a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act.

2. Review and removal

We may request clarification, preserve evidence, restrict access, remove material, notify the submitting user, and take action against repeat infringers. A knowingly false or materially misleading notice may create liability. Trademark, publicity, impersonation, and other rights complaints may be sent to the same address with equivalent supporting detail.

3. Counter-notice

A user who believes material was removed by mistake may send a counter-notice identifying the removed material and its former location, consenting to the appropriate federal-court jurisdiction, agreeing to accept service from the complainant, and stating under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, together with the user’s name, address, telephone number, and signature. Where applicable, we may restore material after the statutory period unless the complainant reports filing an action.

4. Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances, Herald may terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe rights or repeatedly submit unauthorized material. We may also act after a single severe or intentional violation.
